Top-tier pricing (2026)
Perplexity sells one premium plan, Max at $200/mo, which adds unlimited Labs, Comet Plus and Max-only models such as Claude Opus. ChatGPT Pro now comes in three sizes: Pro 100 ($100/mo, added April 2026), Pro 200 ($200/mo) and Pro 500 ($500/mo, launched at DevDay on September 29, 2026, the only plan with Astra Ultrafast). OpenAI is also shrinking the usage allowance on Pro 200 without changing its price; eligible existing subscribers keep the old allowance through October 29, 2026. None of these plans pays off unless your research or coding work hits the $20 plan's limits every day.
