Build a habit I keep failing at

You've tried to build the same habit several times and it hasn't stuck. You want to figure out why.

Works best in: Claude

I keep trying and failing to build the habit of {{habit}}. Help me figure out what's actually blocking me.

What I've tried:
{{previous attempts — apps, accountability, schedule, willpower, etc.}}

When it usually fails:
{{day 3, week 2, when life gets busy, weekends, etc.}}

What's underneath the habit:
{{the actual goal — health, learning, relationships, identity, etc.}}

Walk me through:
1. **The likely real reason** I keep failing — not "lack of discipline." Common: friction is too high, the timing is wrong for my energy, it conflicts with another habit, identity hasn't caught up, the goal doesn't actually fit my life.
2. **The smallest possible version** of this habit that's still real — start there, not at "I'll do 30 min daily"
3. **The trigger** — what existing behavior should this attach to? (Habit stacking)
4. **The friction reduction** — what specifically can I remove to make it easier?
5. **What "success at week 1" looks like** — measurable, low bar
6. **The plan for when I miss a day** — because I will, and most habits die from over-correction after a slip

If the habit doesn't actually serve me and I'm pushing for the wrong reason, tell me.
